At My KOUCH, we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all our users, including coaches, coachees, and collaborative teams (Team). This policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and share the information generated through our platform, available at my.kouchc.ca.
1. What is My KOUCH?
My KOUCH is a digital platform focused on professional development, employability, and outplacement processes. Its purpose is to provide practical tools such as assessments, courses, programs, coaching sessions, messaging, and user connection to enhance career readiness and growth.
What roles exist on the platform?
Coach: A professional who offers coaching services and supports development processes.
Coachee: A user who participates in sessions, assessments, or programs. Coachees may also offer services either for free or through custom proposals.
Team (Collaborative): Workgroups or teams that use the platform jointly.
3. What data do we collect?
We collect the necessary information to provide a personalized and valuable experience:
Profile data: name, email address, photo, country, gender, language, WhatsApp number, CV.
Professional data: experience, interests, skills, scheduled sessions, assessment results, completed courses.
Platform interactions: messages, connections, activity participation.
Service offers: information shared by coachees offering mentorship or coaching.
Technical data: cookies, IP address, device type, browser language.
4. What do we use your data for?
To operate the platform and deliver its core functionalities.
To personalize the user experience and recommend relevant content.
To enable connections and session scheduling between users.
To send notifications, recommendations, promotions, and updates.
To analyze and improve the user experience and services provided.
5. Who can access your information?
The My KOUCH team accesses your data strictly for operational or technical support purposes.
Coaches can view the data of coachees with whom they have scheduled sessions or active relationships.
Coachees can view public information or data voluntarily shared by coaches.
🔹 My KOUCH collaborates with KOUCH LATAM, which is the only external entity with whom user data may be shared, exclusively for professional hunting purposes (career opportunities, mentoring offers, or similar).

Data is securely stored on protected servers. We apply technical and administrative safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of user information.

8. Does My KOUCH process payments between users?
No. The platform does not handle any transactions between users. Any financial agreements between coaches and coachees occur outside the platform. My KOUCH does not request or store financial or payment information.
9. About Employability Coaches and Their Relationship with My KOUCH
Coaches who offer services on My KOUCH do so independently, either as individual professionals building their personal brand, or as part of employability consulting firms.
These coaches use the platform as a channel to connect with potential coachees, manage sessions, deliver programs, conduct assessments, and provide follow-up.
My KOUCH does not employ or represent these coaches. The relationship is collaborative, and coaches subscribe to different plans or memberships based on their needs.
All content shared by coaches—such as their experience, services, or published materials—is the sole responsibility of each individual or consulting entity.
10. Relationship with KOUCH LATAM
My KOUCH maintains a strategic collaboration with KOUCH LATAM, which promotes the platform in certain regions.
KOUCH LATAM is the only external entity with access to user data, and only for professional hunting processes (job offers, mentoring opportunities, or networking relevant to the user’s profile).
This collaboration does not imply ownership or operational control of the platform by KOUCH LATAM.
11. Language and Localization
The platform is natively available in English, with translation options. Some assessments are originally designed in Spanish (not translated from English).
12. Your Rights as a User
You may exercise your rights at any time, including:
Accessing, updating, or deleting your personal data.
Requesting the portability of your data.
Limiting or withdrawing consent for specific uses.
Requesting information about how your data is being processed.

13. Intellectual Property and Copyright
All content, tools, designs, visual elements, code, brand identity, and features available on the My KOUCH platform are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
The platform and its functionalities are the exclusive property of My KOUCH.
Users are not authorized to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or use any part of the platform for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Any resources, assessments, templates, or internal processes developed within the platform are considered proprietary, unless otherwise stated.
The My KOUCH name, logo, and related visuals are registered or protected brand elements, and cannot be used without explicit authorization.
Violation of these terms may result in the suspension of the user’s account and legal action where applicable.
